Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Evaluate improvement
   • Use analytical tools to evaluate improvement, as required
   • Recommend further action in conjunction with work team using SOPs, as required
2. Determine job requirements
   • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
3. Comply with work health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
4. Identify job requirements from specifications, job sheets or work instructions
5. Identify areas for improvement and/or solve problems
   • Use teamwork to select improvement tools and methods appropriate to the situation
6. Use teamwork to process improvement tools to identify improvements and/or solve problems
7. Implement and monitor improvement strategy
   • Use teamwork to implement improvement strategies in accordance with SOPs, as required
8. Recommend further action in conjunction with work team, as required
9. Monitor performance for change, utilising feedback data
   • Use analytical tools to evaluate improvement, as required
10. Recommend further action in conjunction with work team using SOPs, as required
